Three men are accused of robbing a Dronfield family and possessing a firearm

Three men have been accused and charged with conspiring to commit robbery against a family in Dronfield as well as being charged with conspiring to possess an imitation firearm.

Luke John Bonsall, 36, of Bowden Wood Crescent, Sheffield, Shayne West, 34, of The Circle, Manor, Sheffield, and William John Proctor, 36, of Magpie Grove, Sheffield, all appeared at Chesterfield magistrates’ court today, Friday, July 15.

The court heard how the three men have been accused of conspiring to rob the Eales family between March 13, 2015, and March 20, 2015, and to conspiring to possess an imitation firearm - namely a sawn-off shotgun - between the same dates.

Magistrates committed the case for a further hearing at Derby Crown Court on August 12.

All three defendants were released on conditional bail on the grounds they do not go into Derbyshire and do not contact any witnesses in the case.
