Three in court after assault on the street in Darnall

Three men from the West Midlands have appeared in court in connection with an assault in Darnall, Sheffield.

Police were called to Main Road at 2.20pm on Tuesday following reports of a collision involving two vans.

A 37-year-old man was also found to have been assaulted and was taken to hospital with what police said were minor injuries.

Martin Collins, 19, of Oldale in the West Midlands has been charged with wounding, witness intimidation and dangerous driving.

Terry Collins, 18, of Dudley, was charged with wounding and witness intimidation.

Charlie Doherty, 22, of Tipton, was charged with wounding.

All three appeared before Sheffield magistrates yesterday and were remanded in custody.
