Regardless that we’re home to butterfly and bird

Bryan Lodge takes over with the same old flannel

Appearing to ignore the council’s own tree panel

But apparently he’s “not bound” by the panel’s advice

However to completely ignore it is so unwise

Eg the ITP was still discussing some trees in Dore

When Amey prematurely came along with a chainsaw

Now the ‘independent’ panel is far from being dumb

But obviously is well under a ‘not so green’ thumb

Also, before anyone chops down yet another tree

The council should show us the draft Tree Strategy

It was asked for by SORT just over a year ago

And if anyone’s seen it we’d all love to know.
