Thousands of new trees to be planted in Sheffield
Rail operator First TransPennine Express, along with the Forestry Commission, awarded the cash to the Sheffield Urban Woodlands Project, which will see new mixed native woodland trees planted at four sites in Sheffield.
Throughout winter, 300 volunteers will plant the trees in Arbourthorne, Mosborough, Sky Edge and Manor.
