Third soccer international at Keepmoat

DONCASTER footy fans have the chance to check out the next Eider Gudjohnsen or Gheorghe Hagi next month - and, even better, they can do it for free!

A third under-19 international has been announced for the Keepmoat stadium, which has been selected to host the UEFA U19 Qualifying Tournament game between Iceland and Romania.

All matches in England’s group are being help in England.

The tie, which will be played on Wednesday October 17, kicks off at 7.45pm and entrance will be free for fans of all ages, who should enter through the West Stand turnstiles. Only the West Stand will be open for the match.

Commenting on the FA’s decision to award the game to Doncaster, the Keepmoat’s Jeremy Milnes said: “This is great news coming so soon after the FA announced we had been selected to host England’s crucial forthcoming qualifying game.

“Especially with the news that the game has free entry for all, I’m sure the people of Doncaster and the whole borough will get behind the two teams and show the FA that we deserve to host even more internationals at all levels in the future.”

Tickets for the England U-19 v Iceland U-19 match, which kicks off at 7.45pm Friday October 12, are still available from the Keepmoat Stadium ticket office on 08717 899998. Tickets in advance are available at 1 concessions and 3 adults. Tickets on the day will rise to 5 for adults but remain at 1 for concessions.
