Thieves who used JCB to steal cash machine from Sheffield petrol station remain at large

A gang of men who drove a JCB into the wall of a Sheffield petrol station and stole a cash machine remain on the run - five days after the raid.

The theft was carried out at the Co-op petrol station, Worksop Road, Aston, at around 2.50am on Friday.

The men used the JCB to pull the machine from the wall and loaded it onto a Ford Transit van and fled the scene.

People living on Worksop Road said the incident was over 'within a matter of minutes'.

South Yorkshire Police said enquiries were ongoing and no arrests had been made.
