Thieves target two Sheffield vets within 24 hours

Two Sheffield vets have been burgled within 24 hours.

Thieves broke into a vets practice on Birley Moor Road, Frecheville, and another on Westfield over the weekend.

Noting was stolen in the first burglary, but in the second thieves smashed a window to gain entry and property was thrown around and damaged.

A restaurant on Sevenairs Road, Beighton was broken into on Saturday night after offenders gained entry by smashing through a door. Items were stolen, but it it not yet known how much.

An outbuilding on Birley Spa Lane, Hackenthorpe was also broken into but nothing was stolen.

A house on Richmond Road was burgled and witnesses saw seeing an unknown man leaving the property.

There was an attempted theft of bicycles on Jaunty Avenue,Basgreen. The thieves tampered with heavy duty locks but left empty handed.
