POLICE are warning motorists to store spare wheels in their boot or to fit a padlock on them if they are kept underneath vehicles after a spate of spare wheels being stolen across Sheffield.

An iPhone was stolen from a car on Batemoor Road, Batemoor, Sheffield, after it was left on display.

A purse was stolen from a house on Bradway Road, Bradway, after a thief sneaked inside the property, a garage was broken into on Edmund Drive, Beauchief, and police are investigating shed break-ins on Glen View Road, Greenhill, and nearby Greenfield Road.
