Thieves spread burglary misery

POLICE are looking for three men who were disturbed trying to force their way into a house on Spotswood Close, Gleadless Valley, Sheffield.

One was black, one was white and skinny and another was white and chubby.

In a separate incident, a house on Raeburn Way, Gleadless Valley, was raided when a door was forced open.

A house on Heeley Bank Road, Lowfield, Sheffield, was also broken into when a window was smashed to gain entry.

And a house on Hunstone Avenue, Norton, was broken into.

Meanwhile, a delivery driver’s vehicle was broken into when it pulled up on Dyche Road, Jordanthorpe, Sheffield, on Thursday morning.

And a spare wheel was stolen from a car parked on Westwick Crescent, Beauchief, Sheffield, overnight on Monday. Police are investigating a spate of similar offences in recent weeks.
