Thief steals kit from Mountain Rescue Team volunteer in Derbyshire

A police search is underway for a thief who stole equipment from a Mountain Rescue Team volunteer in Derbyshire.

A thief stole a rucksack from a Mountain Rescue Team volunteer

A rucksack containing a Mountain Rescue Team vest, a first aid kit, a knife, a compass and a torch were stolen from a silver BMW parked in Granby Road, Bradwell.

The car was broken into between 11pm on Friday, May 13 and 7am the following morning.

Anyone with information should call Derbyshire Police on 101.
