A callous thief caused thousands of pounds worth of damage by smashing his way into a Sheffield RSPCA shop before stealing a charity box.
CCTV footage captured the thief smashing his way through the front door and windows of the RSPCA on Stadium Way, Attercliffe for four minutes.
The intruder caused £1,000 worth of property damage to the reception building before stealing cash from a collection box.
General manager Tony Benham said: "I find it disgusting, the lengths an individual will go to for a few pounds
"Causing not only hundreds of pounds worth of damage to our Animal Centre, but also the extra costs and time involved with clearing the destruction and for replacing and enhancing our security systems.
"I urge anyone who can, to identify this individual so he can be brought to justice.
"Although the centre is insured, we still have to pay a large excess and along with the extra expense of adding new security measures - it could be very costly!”
The break-in took place at around Sunday, May 7 at around 6.45pm.
