FOR sale - one beautiful four storey Georgian mansion, fully furnished with exquisite period fixtures and luxury cellar conversion… all for just £300.

Or how about a delightful 1930s suburban villa with two generous extensions and all the mod cons of the Art Deco age - for as little as £500!

Of course you might struggle to fit into your new des res, for the properties are part of a selection of dolls’ houses about to go on sale at the Ecclesall Road branch of St Luke’s Hospice charity shops.

The houses, along with a meticulously crafted drapers’ shop, toy shop and tea room – were given to the hospice by an anonymous donor and will be sold to the highest bidder in time for Christmas.

“There really is an incredible attention to detail in all of them,” said shops manager Chris Quinlan. “All the room are beautifully decorated and furnished and even set up with real electric lights.”

The dolls’ houses and the miniature shops will be on display in Ecclesall Road from Friday, along with limited edition Barbie dolls, starting at £10.99.

“Altogether they make a fabulous Christmas selection,” said Chris.
