Theatre focus on refugees
A THEATRE group is to stage a multi-media show setting out to bust myths about refugees and asylum seekers.
Banner Theatre will perform the show in Rotherham and Sheffield over two days, combining music, song, video, film and theatre.
The show speaks up for new arrivals to Britain - telling the stories of people in the wrong place at the wrong time and cutting through the myths and prejudices surrounding them.IThe Rotherham event is at the Unity Centre in St Leonard’s Road on October 26 and in Sheffield at St Mary’s church in Bramall Lane on the 27th.
