The steel industry is doomed ?

The Tories who were happy to oversee the destruction of our mining and engineering industries will, along with the ‘wringing of hands’ from Labour, also be prepared to do the same to steel.

Dave and the Tories hate the word ‘nationalisation’ so forget that Dave is “doing everything possible but with no guarantees”.

Yet all we get from Labour is Angela Smith MP saying “we steel MPs will talk to Sajid Javid in London”, another day ‘jollying’ on expenses no doubt?

They’ll get the same thing we got from the ‘vermin’ in the 1980s which was to be told to “get on our bikes” and look for other work at ‘nowt a yard’.

The Labour lot had 13 years in government when they could have attempted to safeguard at least our major industries but they carried on with mine closures and steel closures along with redundancies etc.

And not one iota of Tory anti-union legislation was rescinded.

Germany as members of the EU are still mining coal and are still making steel, Why are we not doing the same?

Are we in a different category of the EU to Germany?

If we can’t vote for a strong government to fight our corner then we have another strong case to vote to leave the EU.
