“The single most important thing is that you all take care of yourselves and be safe and healthy.

“These are going to be the same great shows, but we have to move them to next year.

“All tickets will be honored, so we really hope you will join us. If you can’t, please contact your ticket agent.”

The show will now take place at the Keepmoat on May 25, 2021.

Earlier this week, the band's drummer Ronnie Vanucci Jr had confirmed that the concerts were being ‘postponed, not cancelled.’

The band’s UK and Ireland tour, in support of new album Imploding The Mirage, was due to get under way in Doncaster.

Fans of the band – whose hits include Human, Mr Brightside and Read My Mind – were delighted when the band announced a surprise date in Doncaster – making it one of the biggest concerts ever to be held in Doncaster.

The rescheduled date is almost a year to the day later and will still be the band’s first UK date on their rescheduled tour.
