When it came to picking the toughest part of the elephant decorating process, the artists were almost unanimous - painting their elephants’ tummies.

Artist Geo Law said: “Painting the underside was really tricky. Getting on your knewws and lying on your back painting without making a mess and splatting yourself was a big challenge.”

Artist Neil Carribine added: “I was too big to paint the underneath of the elephant. I kept banging my head and getting paint in my hair.”

Artist Alan Pennington said: “There were some serious yoga moves needed - and lots of varnish in my hair!”
