The crisis in Syria wants tackling now

Have your say

The pictures of that little boy washed up on the beach were heartbreaking, anybody who has any feelings would have been in tears, but what happens now?

The family fled Isis and got safely away, they could have stayed in Turkey but carried on wanting to get to Europe. You reach relative safety, why risk a boat trip?

I also wonder if they ran away from Syria? The father went back and took his wife and children to be buried. If it’s so bad there, why take the bodies back? Makes no sense to me at all.

What’s going to happen? We just can’t keep taking thousands upon thousands of migrants.

Try telling the old people who can’t have carers because of council cutbacks that we can find the money to help all these people.

When is someone going to take action over Syria? And what’s happening with president Assad? Where is he? It’s a crisis and it wants tackling now.
