Dryden Estate in Southey Green, Sheffield, has never been known for its tidiness to my knowledge.
However, there was an opportunity to make it something to be proud of, sadly it is the same old story – council Muppet heads.
The council, given a large chunk of government money to make estates look better have different ideas.
To see a pathway from the road into a hedge or a full kerb shows the thinking of other mindless people.
We have lamp-posts stuck in the middle of the pavement, cracked slopes that could have been renewed, but an example of the work done by Amey they are best left alone.
While on about Muppet heads they should consider that asking people to donate time to help with the pressure of austerity, it cuts all ways.
You do not help the estates, they do not help you.
