The church and homosexuality

A split in the Anglican Communion over homosexuality 'would not be a disaster, but it would be a failure', the Archbishop of Canterbury has said.

Maybe he should recite what his bible teaches to some of these so-called Anglican leaders who want homosexuality recognised.

According to Leviticus 20:13- If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination, they shall surely be put to death, their blood is upon them.

As an aside the teachings of Islam certainly does not accept homosexuality.

So! These Anglicans either believe in the teachings of The Bible or they don’t?

I would suggest it looks like these Anglican hierarchies will be rewriting The Bible to suit whatever whim takes them just as many in the UK are still trying to re-write our great history in order to placate certain sections of our society.

No wonder Anglican churches are almost empty worldwide.
