The Havana Whites owner was tonight booted off the hit BBC show by multi-millionaire businessman Lord Sugar – but he insisted the 26-year-old “will go somewhere”.

The episode saw James and the eight other budding entrepreneurs head for the countryside to sell a selection of products to visitors of the Royal Bath and West agricultural show.

Team Summit, led by James, made £25,000 less than Team Tanacity – spelling his downfall.

Lord Sugar said: “James, I see some sparks of entrepreneurialism, although you’re a little bit immature. You have got a lot to learn.

“I find it very hard to demoralise somebody with such fighting spirit – but James, what I want to say to you is this: culture that bit of good stuff about you, then you will go somewhere. But it is with regret that I’m going to have to say, James, you’re fired.”

Over the past eight weeks, James has amassed a legion of fans, raised plenty of smiles – and put Chesterfield on the map.

James is due to speak to the Derbyshire Times tomorrow afternoon – keep checking our website for his thoughts on his Apprentice experience.
