People are being asked for their views on changes to the way council homes are allocated in part of North Derbyshire.
North East Derbyshire District Council’s Allocations and Lettings Policy is currently being reviewed, to ensure the system is in line with major government changes which will affect housing.
The policy sets out how council homes are allocated through a Choice Based Lettings Scheme, which is run by Rykneld Homes on behalf of the authority.
The review follows government changes which affect housing including changes to the benefits system.
People have until Monday, December 3, to comment on the draft policy, which can be viewed online at Derbyshire Council Alternatively call 01246 217 289.
