A 14-year-old girl has reportedly been sexually assaulted as she walked through a wooded area in South Yorkshire.
The teenager was reportedly walking through Kendall woods in Rotherham when the man sexually assaulted her.
Police say they believe a passing member of the public may have disturbed the man who then ran from the scene.
The attack happened at around 8.15am on Monday, May 15, off Woodsetts Road in North Anston.
Police are hunting for the suspect, described as being white, over 20-years-old and with a brown beard.
He was reportedly wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a black hooded top, and is believed to be quite tall and thin.
The girl was uninjured in the attack and is receiving support from specially trained officers.
An investigation into the report is currently underway and officers said there will be an increased police presence in the area to provide reassurance.
