Teen badly injured in violent Sheffield assault

A TEENAGER was left with a broken skull and a brain haemorrhage after a vicious attack outside a takeaway in Sheffield.

The 18-year-old was set upon outside the Foodstop on Leadmill Road, after a night out with pals in the city centre.

During the assault he suffered a broken nose, fractured skull and a bleed on the brain.

Police have now released CCTV images of three suspects.

The first man was aged between 20 and 25, white, just over six feet, slim and of a medium build.

He had collar length black hair with a fringe across his forehead.

He wore a black T-shirt with yellow writing on the front, blue jeans and Adidas trainers.

The second man was between 25 and 30, white, 6ft 2ins to 6ft 3ins and stocky.

He had a shaved head and a large tattoo covering his left forearm. The suspect wore a red and blue checked shirt and jeans.

The third man was also aged between 20 and 25, white, slim, clean-shaven and around six feet. He had collar length blond hair and was wearing a blue T-shirt and jeans with white trainers.

Anyone with information about the incident, which happened between 2.40am and 3.15am on July 28, should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
