A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs after three children were taken to hospital in Sheffield.
Police received a report on Thursday afternoon that three children in the Southey Green area had fallen ill after taking an unknown substance.
The children, aged 10, 13 and 14, were taken to Sheffield Children’s Hospital with symptoms including feeling faint, shortness of breath and vomiting.
The children were observed and assessed and released soon after.
A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said: “Police enquiries have now established that the children may have taken a legal high and toxicology tests are ongoing.
“Neighbourhood officers in the area have also been informed.”
The 15-year-old has been bailed pending further enquiries.
