It was revealed this week that the skipper, along with Ross Wallace and Jake Kean, will not be offered new contracts and will leave at the end of the season.

Loovens hasn't been in the Owls squad since early March, but boss Jos Luhukay has given the popular defender a final run out in place of Tom Lees.

Ashley Baker also makes his first start for Wednesday on the right side as a wing back.

Fernando Forestieri will play in behind Atdhe Nuhiu and Lucas Joao.
