The Owls forward hasn't kicked off for Wednesday since the League Cup defeat to Bolton at the beginning of the campaign and not in the league until the opening day.

Forestieri has been on the bench for the last three games having recovered from a knee operation.

He is one of four changes for the owls from the side that lost to Fulham on Saturday.

Liam Palmer comes in for Jack Hunt, Jordan Thorniley replaces Frederico Venancio, David Jones comes in for Barry Bannan who came off injured at the weekend.

George Boyd drops out with Forestieri going in behind the front two and Adam Reach presumably at this stage taking up the role of left wing-back.
