Tarot card reading raised charity cash

Zena raised 305 for the organisation by carrying out tarot readings at the Firefly Eco Festival in Fishlake earlier this year.

Delighted event organiser and charity founder Andy Hurst said: “We’re really grateful to Zena and the others who helped at the event.”

So far the festival has raised in the region of 2,500 for Firefly, which was set up to campaign for male cancer awareness and to fund a bus service between Doncaster and Sheffield’s Weston Park Hospital, where many borough residents go to receive cancer treatment.

Firefly’s next big event is a cabaret and fashion show at the Doncaster Dome on Thursday and Friday November 15 and November 16. Tickets are available at the Dome.
