Tales of the North Pole

Have your say

Oh no, Rudolph has got a terrible cold!

My poor pal has been feeling a bit rubbish the last couple of days.

He started sneezing when I went to visit all the reindeers at breakfast time yesterday and he hasn’t stopped since.

His usually bright and shining nose, which guides my sleigh all over the world on Christmas Eve, is now just a dull glow.

He is looking very sorry for himself indeed, though all his reindeeer friends are doing their best to cheer him up. He’s tucked up in his stable all nice and warm and Mrs Claus has baked him some

of her famous Reindeer porridge.

It’s his absolute favourite and always makes him feel better, so fingers crossed it will do the trick!

Rudolph has been guiding my sleigh for so many years now and he is the one that knows all the quickest routes and the best sights for us to fly over.

His favourites are the Statue of Liberty in New York, the Eiffel Tower in Paris and Meadowhall in Sheffield!

My friend really needs all your ‘get well’ wishes, little ones, so that he can start to feel better for Christmas.

Would you email him your best wishes to Santa Claus, care of staronline@sheffieldnewspapers.co.uk?

I know they’d make him feel so much better.

I’m going to go see my pal now with a big bowl of hot chocolate, which will hopefully have him feeling like his good old self in no time boys and girls, don’t worry.

See you all in eight sleeps...

Santa x
