A failed asylum seeker fighting against deportation is to meet Sheffield MP Clive Betts tomorrow.
Tamir Nasir, aged 20, had his application for asylum in the UK turned down and had to leave accommodation in Darnall previously paid for by the Government on Wednesday.
Friends of the talented footballer, who plays for Davy FC, have launched a campaign to fight for him to be allowed to stay in the country.
His football team manager, John Richardson, is to accompany Tamir to his meeting with the Darnall MP.
Tamir claims to be from Somalia and said he witnessed his step-father being shot dead by a terror group.
The Home Office believes he is from Tanzania and not in need of protection in the UK.
