Have your say

Grabbing a sandwich on-the-go in Barnsley has never been an entirely easy, or pleasurable, experience - until now.

With a series of meetings in the town recently, I called into Quintessential Kitchen and was delighted by the sight of a joint of Yorkshire Ham, ready to slice on the counter.

I ordered one to go, complete with fresh crusty bread, made in-house, and a health dollop of chutney - of which there was a choice of three. The bread was moist in the middle, crusty on the edges and tasted like perfection. The ham was deliciously salty and thick, with very little fat around the edges. A big juicy sandwich that left me feeling full all afternoon. £7.60 with a tea, and I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!
