Take the Time To Talk, in support of mental health

South Yorkshire Housing Association supported national Time to Talk Day this month by encouraging people across South Yorkshire to take time to talk to one another.

The awareness day aims to end the stigma around mental health and get people talking about what’s troubling them.

Juliann Hall, Director of Care, Health and Wellbeing at South Yorkshire Housing Association, which provides a variety of mental health support across the region, said: “Mental health doesn’t discriminate – it can affect any of us, at any point in our lives.

“Whether you’re just feeling down, lonely or have a more serious diagnosed condition, we have support available. “The more comfortable we all are talking about mental health, the easier it is for us to spot the signs of potential problems and do something about it. Contact us if you’d like to talk.”
