This CCTV image shows a suspected dog thief making his getaway with two beloved family pets.

Now devastated South Yorkshire woman Adele Worgan is offering a £1,000 reward to anyone who can return her precious pets after they disappeared from her front garden.

Pekingese dogs Marley and Mitzy were stolen from the garden on South Road, Moorends, Doncaster, at around midday on Saturday.

Adele’s husband Steven had let them out while he was inside.

He heard a yelp and when he got into the front garden he saw a man get into a van with the dogs and drive off.

Steven gave chase but was unable to catch up with the van.

Now the couple’s neighbours believes they have caught the alleged dog-napper on CCTV.

In the footage a man can be seen running while holding a dog under each arm.

Adele and Steven have reported the incident to police and are offering a £1,000 reward to anyone who can return their dogs.

“We just want them back,” said Adele.

“We’ll give £1,000 to whoever brings them back to us.

“It’s absolutely devastating. None of us have been able to sleep or eat since.”

She added: H“They’re like our babies.”

The youngest of the two dogs, Marley, a black Pekingese pooch, only has one eye.

A police spokesman said: “Police are currently investigating the reported theft of two dogs from the Moorends area of Doncaster.

“It is believed that at around 11.20am on Saturday 4 April, an unknown man took the two dogs from the garden of a property in South Road, Moorends.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
