Suspected illegal immigrant arrested in South Yorkshire Police day of action
A man suspected of being an illegal immigrant was arrested today in a police day of action in Rotherham.
His Citroen Berlingo van was also seized as part of the crime crackdown in Rotherham, known as Operation Duxford.
Extra officers have been on duty across the town today aimed at tackling issues in local communities and identifying problems.
Vehicles were seized for having no licence, insurance or MOT and a cannabis set-up was discovered in a raid of a property in Westgate in the town centre.
