Supertram work causes disruption in city centre

Have your say

MAINTENANCE to Supertram lines in Sheffield city centre means disruption to the network on Sunday.

Work around Cathedral tram stop, means services will not run between Fitzalan Square and Sheffield University.

A replacement bus service will operate between Fitzalan Square and Shalesmoor.

Journeys on the purple route from Herdings that operate all the way to Meadowhall will run direct from Sheffield Station to Cricket Inn Road and not serve Fitzalan Square. Yellow tram journeys to Meadowhall will operate from Fitzalan Square.

Herdings to city centre only journeys and journeys to Herdings are not affected.

The replacement bus service will pick up at Haymarket for Fitzalan Square, High Street for Castle Square, Church Street stop HS5 for Cathedral, and all stops from West Street to Shalesmoor. It will return non stop via Snig Hill to Haymarket.

Services on other parts of the network will run to the regular Sunday timetable.

On Sunday, First South Yorkshire and Veolia Transport services 22, 49 and 95 from Church Street will use stop HS4 rather than HS5.
