Backed by The Star, the campaign aims to raise tens of thousands of pounds to support sick and disadvantaged children.

The auction, which launches on Monday, has close to 100 listings with big ticket items including experiences at the 2017 Monaco Grand Prix, a break to an Italian Villa, trips to London, a flight to see the Northern Lights and an opportunity to watch Danny Willett defend his title at the 2017 Masters.

The lot also includes a variety of sporting memorabilia such as signed football shirts from Wayne Rooney, Cristano Ronaldo and the 1966 England World Cup winning team. Boxing memorabilia includes a signed Mike Tyson and Frank Bruno frame alongside a Rocky presentation signed by Sylvester Stallone.

Allan Ogle, charity manager for Cash for Kids, said: “There really is something for everyone here, lots of practical everyday things including a year’s supply of tea!

“The money raised will benefit thousands of children where we live.”

The auction officially goes live from 6am on Monday on the Big John at Breakfast show on Hallam FM.

Selected items will close on Friday, with the website remaining open for final bids closing at 8pm on Sunday.
