Subsidised training course on offer for South Yorkshire bikers

Subsidised training courses are being offered to motorcyclists across South Yorkshire.

The South Yorkshire Safer Roads Partnership is offering riders a two day enhanced SharpRider course for £20 instead of over £100.

It provides riders with a full licence an introduction to enhanced riding techniques, cornering, overtaking, braking and other essential skills to become a safer rider.

The course is also suitable for bikers wanting a refresher.

Those who complete the course may be entitled to 15 per cent off their insurance.

Joanne Werhle, Safer Roads Education Manager, said: “The course has been developed to improve riding skills and to help riders be safer road users.”
