Students get sneak preview of £10m aviation academy

STUDENTS have been given a sneak preview of Doncaster's new aviation academy ahead of its official opening on Thursday.

They were given a tour of the 10 million site as a taster of their tourism courses at Doncaster College which start in September.

Student Danielle Bevan, aged 19, said: “I am really impressed with it all. I can’t wait to start the course now.”

The college will be holding an open day at the new academy on Thursday September 6, the day after it is officially opened by MP Caroline Flint.

The academy will provide training for airport-related jobs and is based near the airport in Finningley.
