The group of five students from the Communication Specialist College Doncaster visited Marco’s New York Italian at West Bar Green to find out first-hand what it takes to work in the catering and hospitality sectors.

During their visit they met the restaurant’s chefs, Lee Crookes and Vicky Wainwright, who told the students about their own career journeys, before giving everyone the chance to make their own burger patties.

Peter Hendry, general manager at Marco’s New York Italian, said: “We had a great time welcoming the students from the Communication Specialist College Doncaster to the restaurant.
