Student tour fights cancer

STUDENTS from Warwick University’s student radio station will be in Sheffield on Monday as part of a week-long tour appealing for support to help beat blood cancers - the biggest cause of cancer death in young people.

The four volunteers from RaW are visiting student radio stations across the country, using air-time to raise money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, the charity dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for blood cancers such as leukaemia and lymphoma. They organised the stunt after one of their presenters was diagnosed with leukaemia.
