A Sheffield student accommodation complex has won city architectural design practice Coda Studios a major award.

The Dunfields project at Kelham Island industrial was named best housing development at the 2015 Local Authority Building Control Awards.

Designed by Coda and developed by Crossbow, the £2 million scheme created 18 urban houses on a former brownfield site close to the city centre, with a central communal garden area and an outdoor gym area.

Coda is based on Cornish Street in Sheffield city centre.
