The professional dancer will be hosting exclusive sessions with dancing schools across the country when he hits the road with his Il Ballo è Vita show in April.

Giovanni, who rose to fame when he joined the hit BBC show in 2015, will visit 31 towns and cities nationwide, with an appearance at Chesterfield’s The Winding Wheel on July 6. Keen to help inspire the next generation of dancers, the star is offering private masterclasses to dancing schools and groups who purchase 25 tickets or more to see him.

Giovanni will host his expert tuition sessions either at the theatre where he is performing or at the group’s own dance studios where convenient. He will watch the dancers perform before giving feedback and advice, as well as sharing some of his own tips and secrets.

“I love dancing, and I always consider myself to be very fortunate to do what I love for a living, so I like to give back what I can, especially when it comes to helping the next generation of dancers,” Giovanni said.

“Ballroom dancing continues to grow in popularity and it is fantastic to see so many dancing groups today boasting some very talented young dancers.

“The aim of my masterclasses is to meet and hopefully inspire some of the stars of tomorrow. It’s wonderful to get the chance to meet such talented young people and hopefully help them on their journey to the top.”
