Street drinking on the agenda at Sheffield city centre public meeting

A meeting on anti-social behaviour, alcohol and other Sheffield city centre issues will be held tonight (June 14).

Sheffield City Centre Residents’ Action Group welcomes anyone with an interest in the city centre to the Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind at 5 Mappin Street from 6.30pm to 8pm.

Issues likely to be covered will involve residents, traders, the community, police priorities, healthcare, services, the city council, planning and licensing.

The central ward councillors will speak, and there will be a discussion on street drinking and a proposal for a community impact policy and an alcohol saturation zone in West Street.
