Stray cat taken to RSPCA in Sheffield needs a new home

An affectionate stray cat found wandering the streets is in need of a forever home.

Michonne, a short-haired domestic black and white cat, was brought into the RSPCA’s animal centre in Attercliffe, Sheffield, in December with concerns for her welfare.

The eight-year-old appeared neglected on her admission but is now ready to be re-homed.

An RSPCA spokesman said: “Michonne is a gorgeous and very sweet older lady who was brought into our care by an inspector when she was found straying with nobody to care or look after her anymore.

She is very affectionate and loving but also likes to snooze and nap in her own time so is looking for a quieter life and home with no young children, if any, where she can be given the space and comforts that she really does deserve as she heads into her twilight years.

“Michonne really has had a tough time lately and is looking for a brand new fresh start with owners who can pamper, spoil and generally give her the life that she probably has never really had.

“Is this sweet girl the cat of your dreams? Are you the one to turn her fortunes around?”

Michonne is being advertised as part of the RSPCA’s ‘Give An Animal A Home’ campaign, aimed at re-homing abandoned, neglected and unwanted animals.
