Storm Doris affects trains from Sheffield to London

The damage to wires in the St Albans area is expected to cause disruption for trains until around noon.

East Midlands Trains, which operates services from Sheffield to London, said trains may be delayed by up to 60 minutes or cancelled.

A 50mph speed restriction will be in place on trains between Chesterfield and Sheffield on the Liverpool Lime Street - Nottingham - Norwich route and the Sheffield - Nottingham - London St Pancras route.
