State of pub a crying shame

Have your say

Recently it has seemed that you can’t see the words for the trees in the Star letters pagesl.

Anyhow more on Farfield House ,the doomed listed building at the far end of Neepsend Bridge.

The bulldozers are probably revving up now – the final straw being council planning allowing a scrap mountain to be erected next door it.

Farfield’s appearance belies its age – its a relic of the mid 18th century and the oldest building in the area.

The Georgian Society seemingly doesn’t exist in South Yorkshire any more and the planning department seem not to care.

It’s a crying shame.
