A Tigers side will take on the Heathens at Owlerton with a number of up-and-coming youngsters on display.

Sheffield will include two British Youth Champions with first team regular Nathan Greaves as well as Jack Parkinson-Blackburn who agreed to become part of the Tigers set-up last week.

Boocock is anticipating ‘a special night of racing’ against one of the sport’s most famous clubs.

“I love working with the up-and-coming riders; they arey great kids and their attitude and eagerness is so refreshing, Boocock said.

“It doesn’t matter what the conditions are like or what the weather is doing, they don’t moan, they just want to get out there and ride.

“None of them are prima-donnas; they all just want to learn as quickly as they can and we’ve got some great riders of the future starting to come through.

“It will be a good opportunity for Arthur (Sissis) and Nathan to get some extra track time and hopefully a good performance for those two will start them on a good run for Sheffield in the weeks to come.

“It will be a special moment for Jack and his family as well; he’s a local lad and he’s big part of the plans for the future at Sheffield and it will be great to see him in our race-jacket for the first time.

“Cradley Heath are a household name in speedway and they’ve got a big fan base. It should be a really good night of speedway.”
