Have your say

GET your boots on and step to it - sign up now to take part in The Star backed St Luke’s Hospice charity Starlight Walk, writes digital editor Graham Walker.

St Luke’s Hospice holds its first-ever sponsored 5km Starlight Walk, from Endcliffe Park to Forge Dam and back, on the evening of Saturday, May 21.

All proceeds go to help fund the hospice’s care for Sheffield people with life-limiting illnesses.

You can walk in memory of someone who was close to you, walk for someone you know who has been helped by St Luke’s – or just walk for fun and fitness.

Whatever your motivation, St Luke’s needs your help and sponsorship money to raise at least £50,000.

There are registration discounts for groups of six or more and for under-16s, so why not bring friends and family along too?

Live entertainment in the park beforehand will add to the festive atmosphere. The entertainment starts at 6.30pm and the walk itself starts at 8.45pm.

In the hospice’s 40th anniversary year, The Star is proud to be St Luke’s Media Partner for the Starlight Walk.
