Glenn received the award, sponsored by Parkwood Academy, for his hard work and the commitment he has shown to his studies and improving his grades.

Glenn is also a young carer, which only makes his achievements more impressive.

His principal Dean Jones, who accepted the award on his behalf at the ceremony, said: “Glenn came to us at the lowest possible level and worked hard to progress beyond all expectations in his time here. We’re incredibly proud of his achievements and pleased to see his hard work recognised.”
