They are the elite few shortlisted in our new competition which promises a ceremony focused on fun, a chance to make friends and a celebration of dynamic, exciting and mostly unsung companies and individuals who have made a huge impression on the newspaper and in the city.

The ceremony on Thursday July 19 is hosted by Virgin Money Lounge, on Fargate in Sheffield city centre.

Holly Garforth, Virgin Money Lounge events and promotions manager, explained why they went for it.
