Staff's walk for helipad appeal

The appeal aims to help Sheffield Teaching Hospital become a Major Trauma Centre, bringing faster lifesaving treatment to the region.

The walk, which will take place through the Peak District on July 3, will also raise funds for the Jessop Wing, which houses the city’s maternal and neonatal units.

Emily Pickersgill, business manager at the walk-in centre, which is run by One Medical Group, said: “We’re hoping to raise £300, but every little helps, so we really hope people will support our efforts!”
